100 Percent

When trying to accomplish anything, the ultimate goal is to get done to the best of your ability. Sometimes we fail, despite our best efforts. Failing is not fun. There is a lesson that can be learned from the failure. We must learn from this lesson. What could I have done differently? We must ask ourselves questions and then apply the answer, so that we are closer to the best effectiveness we can make.

Therefore, failure is not fatal. We are still alive after all of the bumps and bruises we incurred from past mistakes. We can choose to be mired in self pity or we can move forward with courage, in knowing that everyone fails. Even the best of the best fail. That is how they became the best of the best. The never gave up after they failed. They kept going and going. They tried over and over again, making course corrections. It is a lesson we need to learn and to teach our kids by our own example. If they see us giving 100 percent and trying over and over, then they will see what it takes to succeed.
