When times get rough. All you can do is hope. Sometimes, there are things that are completely out of your control. There are things that happen to you. You have control over how you handle what happens to you. There are a consequences to actions. You have to do the right thing, when the time comes. However, something may go wrong.
All you can do is handle your attitude, your involvement, your interests, your reaction, your thoughts, and what you say. It does not help to lose hope. There may be something you can do, even if you don’t like where you are at right now.
I try to teach my kids that they have a choice to handle how they react to something that happens to them. They can get mad and be angry or they can calm down and let it go. You can acknowledge something is wrong, and let it go. You can have hope that it will get better. You can make it better. Your children can make it better. Hope is a great attribute. Hope mixed with courage can be a powerful formula for success.
