Even at their darkest hour, the Veterans of World War II found time to pray to God for assistance. When all things seem hopeless, don’t give in to defeat. There is power in prayer. I am grateful for the Veterans who fought in World War II and for their faith in the face of defeat.
If they can overcome such a horrific experience, I think we all can. It is a choice to overcome defeat. Some of us deal with it in different ways. There is no shame in getting help for someone who feels defeated.
Try prayers and then get as much help as you can. Whatever, you are going through God can help you overcome it. Don’t let anything defeat you. Even when it may be yourself.
The Veterans had the courage to do what was needed through Christ. For that I am grateful.
