I used to think I was allergic to sales. I did not want to be sold to. Kid asking for what they want is a form of sales. People asking for something in every environment. Getting a date or finding a mate.
When it comes down to it everything is sales. There are some people who have an internal B.S. detector. I am one of those. When someone, is full of baloney, you know it. We all know it.
There are people who are not adept at getting what they want. However, they may be taking the wrong approach. Hostile people don’t get what they want.
Manipulating people to get what you want is bad. Being sneaky or using subterfuge to get what you want is an awful way to get what you want. When you do that, you get resentment, frustration, and anger. Getting what you want is easy. You don’t have to be rude or pushy. Even when you don’t get what you want, there may be a reason for it.
