The girls are getting ready for a big dance. A school dance. It is tomorrow. They are really excited about it. They had their nails done. They know what they want. They had them done in multiple colors. They do not care what other people think. They are ready to go.
It was fun to spend time with them. It was not about the polish. It was about being together and creating moments that we will remember for a long time. I chose to spend some time with them instead of working. It is so worth it to spend time with my girls.
I know there will be a time when, I may not be near them. I know there may be a time when I may not be around. Soaking in every moment I can with them is so precious. Doing our nails is so simple. I hope they remember that spending time with one another does not have to be expensive or cost a lot. Just being together is cool. It does not matter where we are at a salon, at home, or in the car.
