Today my daughter got separated from us. We went to a large water park. It was a gorgeous day to be outside. Everyone had the idea to be outside. It was hot. People were side by side in the lazy river. There were so many people there, they did not have enough inner tubes to go around.
It was difficult to find her in the mass of people out today. We were in one area of the park. She went down a water slide. She got off the water slide and could not see any of us. She got scared and found a staff member. to find us. She knows our names. She told the staff member where we last were.
My heart sank when I thought we could not find her. She was equally upset. I let her know how much we missed her. She started crying. I asked her why she started to cry. When she could not find us, she started to wander around to another area. She asked someone who worked there to find us.
She used her quick thinking to find us. She was also afraid of the unknown. It is great to have a little faith and hope that everything works out. You can do the work and just hope it works for the best. We did search for her. We are so thankful that she came back to us safely.
