I have lots of lists. I have a lot of energy most days. I can run out of time on projects. Sometimes, they take me longer than I anticipate. Other times, I don’t get all of the details right. If you do something, last minute, there is no time for proper execution. You have to rely on others and on your prior experiences.
You can only focus on one project at a time. I have tons of things to do this evening. I am not focused on the other tasks that I need to get done now. I am completely focused on this task.
It helps to get your kids involved. It makes it easier to get a task done, you get extra hands helping out, you get to spend time with them, and you get to teach them a skill.
However, you have to be prepared ahead of time, in order to complete a project successfully. Even if you have done something a bunch of times. You can still make the effort. Just a little extra effort in the beginning, and you will be right on target to get your goals accomplished. It is an excellent lesson to teach your kids as well.
