It is really neat when you see proof that your kids are growing into caring kids. There are times when they may fight and argue. I can hear them debating over who had the last of some special treat. They are not hitting and screaming. They are debating.
Today, I spied their yearbooks. In the yearbook, one of them signed their name after they wrote that they loved their sister. I felt that I had triumphed. All the lessons they could learn. They still love each other and express it.
This is confirmation to me, that they are slowing learning to love each other unconditionally. They are getting over petty slights. They are working through their issues. I am so overjoyed. They actually get along. When they show affection for one another, like they do, I can’t help but feel that I am getting through to them. They see the example that I set and have learned.
