I started out looking for inspiration on doing better on Facebook. It is not the best place to find inspiration. However, there is a lot of positive posts in my feed from time to time. I know I need to dig deep and find more information. I want to be the best I can be so my kids can be the best they can be. A friend posted about her college aged daughter achieving accolades for her hard work. Another friend noted that her daughter was a fantastic athlete. Then I realized I was comparing myself to them. If I want my kids to be the best they can be, I have to see what makes them come alive, and not worry about anyone else’s kids.

Transitioning to writing to entertain and to make people laugh. However, in the end I think it is worth it. Trying to find the humor in every situation is key. Raising kids is rife with opportunities to laugh. If you don’t laugh, you may cry. There is no crying in parenting.
