Having an attitude of gratitude is paramount for success. I am grateful that I have healthy children. They are whip smart. There is no doubt they will be great thinkers and independent. Seeing them active and making good choices is important. I don’t have to tell them to eat fresh fruit and vegetables. They picked them out at the store all by themselves. They were happy that they had shopping carts that were their size. Drinking water and milk is something they like to do. occasionally, they get something else. They still have a propensity for eating chocolate. Being outside and jumping on the trampoline made them happy.

Describing the Life I imagine.
I would wake up with an ocean front view. I could go for a jog on a the beach and then meditate. Then I would start the day with a healthy breakfast with the entire family. I would home school my children. After doing some projects with them, I would work on some of my paintings or other business ideas. I would plan trips around the world. I would help others by giving to the community with my money, time, and talents. I would take the time to think things through. I would be financially free. I would have freedom to do as I chose. Having a plan for my retirement years, would be part of the plan.
How do I rejuvenate myself?
I like to read a good book and unwind. I also meditate. I sit silently for a few minutes here and there. I write. I get things done that hang over me. Every once in a great while, I may take in a massage. A vacation is always nice. Being able to have someone else cook and do the laundry, is nice. Anytime, I can sit and reflect on what I need to do and what I have done is a great relief to me. I get around people who care about me. The people who uplift me, rejuvenate me. Eating right and getting enough rest will rejuvenate me.
What makes me smile?
This is easy and difficult at the same time. Having days where I can just relax and take in the moment make me smile. Days when there is no pressure on me to preform in a certain way. When I can just be myself. Trying to impress others does not make me smile. Finding what makes me come alive makes me smile. A good joke can make me smile. Accomplishing something that I thought I would never be able to do makes me smile. It is complicated. My kids make me smile, when they say something that is from total innocence, but sounds weird to my adult ears. Playing with the dog and cat makes me smile. Being able to take care of my family makes me smile. When they have what they need and are happy, that makes me smile.
What am I grateful for?
I am grateful, that the weather is nice, today. I am grateful that I am involved in something greater than myself. Having good people in my life is also something I am grateful for. Making new friends is something that I am grateful for. Thank God, my kids are healthy. Thank God, I have a job that supports the activities that I want to do. Thank God, that I have great doctors. Thank you for my health. Thank God, I can see, walk, and talk. I have my life. There was a time when I thought that I would not make it through a surgery or two. Thank God for my family and friends. Having good food, is also what I am grateful for.
Think gratitude and positive thoughts
The Law of Attraction is real. When you think about something you don’t want in your life, you still attract it. When you accept where you are at, and look for the positive and have an attitude of gratitude, more of those positive things will come your way. Trying to stay positive in the midst of all the negative or being in a negative environment is all a state of mind. Changing my thoughts and trying to be grateful in every situation is not easy. It is hard work to stay on course and think about what you want and to remember not to dwell on the negative or give it power.
It is good to ask questions.
If you don’t know something, it is good to find out all you can about a subject. How do you find out about it? I conversations with friends, some things have come up. When I am not familiar with an idea or issue, I ask questions. If I we to nod my head in agreement, that would be foolish. When my kids ask questions and I don’t know the answer, I try to find out. If I don’t know what the answer is, I say we can look it up or ask someone. Wisdom begins with wonder – Socrates.
